With the fantastic spur both in industry and economy，the past 100 years has seen how modernization and civilization has affected mankind. Recently，Copenhagen is being a focus for its Climate Change Conference. A majority of people hold the belief that climate change is the pressing threat for mankind.

However，acknowledging the great abundance of harms that the changing climate will bring，I‘d say the most immediate threat is just ourselves. I always imagine a view of life filled with fresh air and various flowers swung in gentle wind. But the reality shows this is a real fantasy. With the fantastically developing industry and the rising number of personal cars，not only the air but also the water is at risk universally. For example，what used to be a pride for Ruianees was Tang River，the clean and clear mother river of Ruian.
