定语、定语从句初探

一般来说，修饰名词作定语的常见形式为形容词、短语( 形容词短语、介词短语等)。如：

a beautiful girl

a girl in front of me

a tree 4 meters tall

那么一个句子放在名词后面作定语当然就是定语从句了，只不过这个从句和那个名词之间要有一个纽带即连接词，在定语从句中叫关系词，被修饰的名词放在从句之前，先行一步，被叫做先行词。

由此可见定语从句的存在要有三个要素即：先行词、关系词、定语从句。如：
