Helicopter parents are parents who pay close attention to children's experiences and problems. These parents help their children do almost everything,and will not let them learn from their own mistakes . They are so named because ,like helicopter,they hover closely overhead ,whether their children need them or not.

Here are some signs that you have a helicopter dad or mum:

Your dad calls you more than once a day.

Your mom goes to your dormitory and does your laundry on weekends.
