教学目标
知识、技能:进行口语交际练习。进行听力练习,对副词的用法进行整理、归纳和学习。能够理解和使用祈使句。
过程、方法:通过谈论某些体育运动的要求和注意事项,扩展了故事对体育运动规则的讨论范围,又以学校运动会竞赛项目为背景,贴近学生生活,易于让学生表达各自的想法。通过 格局图片找到相应的祈使句的练习让学生关注祈使句的意义,并通过听力训练得以巩固。学生在第一课时故事中接触、了解的基础上对副词的用法进行整理、归纳和学习。
情感、态度:培养学生参与体育运动、锻炼身体的习惯,培养学生安全意识,学会在运动中保护自己。
重难点
重点: 对于祈使句的理解和运用。

1. Point to the girl on the left. Read the imperative sentence aloud. T: Read the sentences after me. 2. Divide the class into two groups and have Ss repeat the dialog in a role-play. Then have the groups change roles. 3. Now point to the Sports meeting rules. T: These are the entry rules. Read after me. Tell me the rules of the competition. 4. Put the Ss into pairs and have them practice the dialog. T: You can practice the dialog in the photo and all five possible substations. 5. Feedback: Call on different pairs to give examples for the whole group to listen to. Lead-in: T: Do you know what a marathon is and how long it is? Look at the picture. What can you see? Read the mini-text to find the answer to the question, How long did the Greek soldier run? |

T: Read again to find which country the first marathon took place. 1. T: You are going to hear six sentences on the tape. They all give commands, orders or strong advice. Each imperative describes a different picture. You are going to match each sentence you hear with the correct picture. 2. Play the tape, stopping after each sentence and have the Ss point to the matching picture. 3. Play the tape again. T: You are going to write the sentence number in the box next to the matching picture. Stop after each sentence to give Ss time to write the number. 4. Check Ss’ answers in a class drill. 1. Read aloud the instruction. Point to the word cloud and read aloud the vocabulary. 2. Give Ss enough time to label the picture in the spaces provided. 3. Check the answers by calling out numbers 1, 2, 3, etc. and having Ss tell the words they have written. 1. Review the adverbs with the whole class. Write the adjectives on the board and have Ss tell you the adverbs. loud, quiet, slow 2. Remind Ss that we normally add –ly to form and adverb. 3. Point out that there are exceptions. You’re a good rider. You ride well. He’s a fast rider. He is riding fast. 1. T: I will give you some commands and you should follow the directions. Stand up. |
