一、单元导入,明确目标
1. Show the class the knowledge tree of this unit and tell them the key points they must grasp.
2. Show the class the knowledge tree of Lesson 8 and tell them the words and sentences they will learn.
二、自学指导,合作探究,大组汇报,教师点拨,式练习,拓展提高
(一)1.Ask the students to guess the new words of we will learn today.
2.Free talk .Guide the new sentences of today:
How old are you ?
I’m nine.
How old is he/she ?
He’s/She’s twelve.
3.let the students to write the new sentences on the practice paper.
4 Do some problems:
How old ____ you ?
____ he ?
____ Bob and Zhou Pei?...
5 Tell them the answers and conclusion the rules together.
6 Play some guessing games to guess the ages.
(二)1 Learn the new words and sentences by themselves:
smart shy active funny

2.Guide the words and sentences by the computer showing.
3 Show the album of my four friends to describe them with the sentences :
