Step 1 Warming up and revision:

1.Chant.

2.Play the game.

1.Play the audiotape of let’s chant of the last unit as

the Ss follow in their books.

2.Play the game “ I say, I do” to review the actions

they learned before: washing clothes, take pictures,

Climbing the mountains … 。

Step 2 Presentation and practice:

1. Demonstrate the new verb phrases with pictures.

T: Look at the pictures. How many people are there

3.Read and listen.

4.Question and answer.

5.Listen and answer.

S: There are five.儿 T: Who are they?

S: They are Sraha, Mike, ZhangPeng, WuYi fan and

Chenjie.

T: Where are they?

S: They are in a field.

2. Play the audiotape as the Ss follow along their

books.

3. Lead the class to have a question and answer drill

to practice the verbs and the drill.

4. Check the understanding of the verbs : Lead them

to have a question and answer drill like this:

T: What is Saraha doing?

6.Listen and repeat.

7.Play the game.

8. Listen and write.

9.Group work

SS: She is doing an experiment.

T: Is Chenjie doing an experiment too?

Ss: No, she isn’t.

5. Play the audiotpe of Let’s talk and ask the class to

listen and repeat.

Step 3 consoladition and extension:

1. Play the game “心有灵犀” to practice the verbs

and the drill: Are they catching brtterflies? Yes, they

are./ No, they aren’t.

2. Listen and write on Page 72. Ask the class to listen

and finish the sentences.

3. Group work to practice the dialogue of this courseHomework: Copy the four skills words.
