五年级英语教案范文:It’s cold in winter

Step 1 Warming up and review:

1. Greetings:

T:Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today?

Ss: I’m fine, thank you.

T:Are you happy?

Ss:I am so happy today.

2. Game: A guessing game(Lead in the new words: flowers, leaves)

(Teacher shows a box, let the students guess what’s in the box.)

T: Look! What’s this? Can you guess what’s in it?

Ss: It’s a book/pencil/…(Students guess what’s in it?)

T:Look! What are these? (Open the box and show the flowers.)

Ss: They are flowers.

设计意图:课一开始,师生进行交流,营造氛围,集中学生注意

力;通过Guessing game激发学生学习的兴趣,点燃学生学习的热

情,并暗中引出了本课学习的重点和难点:leaf和flower的单复

数,为学生在后续活动中将已学内容和新学内容融为一体。

3. Learn: flower--flowers

T: Look at the flowers! They are beautiful/ colorful! They are red, yellow and orange. Please say after me.

Ss: Look at the flowers! They are beautiful/ colorful! They are red, yellow and orange._4. Review the colors:

T:(Point to the flowers), what’s your favorite color?

S1:My favorite color is green.

S1:My favorite color is red.

(Review the colors: red, yellow, blue, green ,orange, white etc.)

5. Learn “leaf-leaves”

T: Are they flowers?

Ss: No, they aren’t.

T:What are they? They are leaves. Look at the leaves! They are beautiful/ colorful!

Ss: Look at the leaves! They are beautiful/ colorful!

T:What color are the leaves? (lead the Ss to say: The leaves are red, yellow and orange)。

Ss: The leaves are red, yellow and orange

设计意图:通过对比,让学生更好地区分单复数,询问学生最喜欢的颜色为下文的学习做好铺垫,句型的引出能提前把故事的难点进行突破,让学生在轻松的氛围中学习新知。

Step 2 Presentation

1.Lead in:

T: But look at the leaves here. Are they red?

Ss: No.

T:Are they yellow?

S:No.

T:What color are they? Let’s look at the other leaves, They are green. They are yellow. The leaves’ colors are different._T: Why? Why the leaves are different? (Have the Ss to observe the different colors of leaves ,have them to say out the “seasons”) .

S1:季节不一样。

T: Because they are the different seasons. They change their color in different season.

2. Lead in “seasons” (Teach the word, write on the blackboard)

设计意图:通过观察树叶的不同颜色和不同状态,让学生思考为什么有如此的不同,呈现本课的主题season,让学生结合科学知识进行思考,达到真正在生活中运用语言。

3. Learn the word: spring, summer, fall, winter

T: What season is this? Listen and learn the words.

Ss: It’s spring.

T: Read it group by group.

(Use the same way to learn the other words)

T: Read all the words together.

SS: (Read the words together.)

T: Say out the next season. It’s summer. What season is it?

Ss: It’s fall.

4. Watch the video and say out the season.

5. Listen and guess: What season is it?
