T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a pear.

T: Pear /??/, where (teach the word where)由pear的发音引出这节课的单词where。Where的发音相对比较难,所以利用旧知识进行迁移,能够使学生更容易接受。

Have Ss read it one by one.

T: Today we are going to learn U7 Where’s my book?

Have Ss repeat.

T: What does this sentence mean?

S1: 我的书在哪里。

T: Very good!

Step 2 Presentation(1)VocabularyShow in the PPT A Big SecretGogo is getting ready to go home. He brings some presents for his father, mother, brother and sister. But he forgets where he put them. Can you help him to find them out?

T: Can you?

Ss: Yes, I can.

T: Very good! I will give you some tips.

Show out the tips.

1. Father’s present—it’s in the bag. The bag is white.

2. Mother’s present—it’s on the table. It’s black.

3. Brother’s present—it’s under the table. It’s blue.

4. Sister’s present– it’s between the white bag and the box It’s white.

(老师先准备一些盒子和袋子,在里面分别放进裤子、袜子、短裙和夹克衫,再把盒子和袋子放到相应的地方)T: Father’s present is in the bag.060s.com

Teach the new word in. Have Ss take out an eraser or pen do after the teacher.

(教单词时,让学生拿出笔或橡皮,跟着老师握在手心,让学生更加容易理解in的意思。)Have S2 come to the platform and find out father’s present.

T: Who wants to come here and find out father’s present? S2 please.

Have S2 open the present and take it out.

Ss: It’s a jacket.

Put the jacket back in the bag.

T: Where’s the jacket?

T: It’s in the box. (Teach the new sentences and have Ss read)。

Teach the new word on. Put the eraser on the hand and have Ss do after the teacher.

Have S3 come to the platform and find out mother’s present.

Have S3 open the present and take it out.

Ss: It’s a skirt.

Put the skirt back in the box.

T: Where’s the skirt?

Put the box on the table T: Where’s the box?

S4: It’s on the desk.

T: Where’s brother’s present? It’s under the table.

Teach the new word under. Put the eraser under the hand and have Ss do after the teacher.

Have S5 come to the platform and find out brother’s present.

T: Who wants to come here and find out brother’s present? S5 please.

Have S5 open the present and take it out.

T: Oh, they are pants. Please read after me. (Teach the new word pants)Put the pants back in the box.

T: What are these?

Ss: They are pants.

T: Where are the pants? (指着黑板,强调裤子是复数)T: They are in the box. (指着黑板,强调裤子是复数)Put the box under the table. T: Where’s the box?

S4: It’s under the table.

T: Where’s sister’s present? It’s between the bag and the box.

Teach the new word between. Put the eraser between the hands and have Ss do after the teacher.

Have S6 come to the platform and find out sister’s present.

T: Who wants to come here and find out sister’s present? S6please.

Have S6open the present and take it out.

T: Oh, they are socks. Please read after me. (Teach the new word socks)T: What are these?
