Passage one :　My name is Lily. This is my house. There are five rooms in my house. This is my father and mother’s room.There are three pictures on the wall. There is a desk near the window. There are two chairs behind the desk. On the left of the room, there is a toilet. On the right, it’s my room. There are four pictures and a poster (风景画) on the wall.

短文(二)

Passage two :　My name is Susan. I was lucky that I went to Canada last October. I stayed there for about 90 days. I went there on October 19th and came back on December 29th. I lived with a Canadian family, the Whites; they are very kind and friendly, so we became good friends. I could practice speaking English with them every day. Sometimes, I taught them Chinese. We can learn from each other, and you can ask your teachers questions during the class. I really like this kind of class.

短文(三)

Passage three: Hi, I’m Jerry. Nice to meet you. It’s very exciting to have a Chinese friend! In America, school starts at eight-thirty, so I usually get up at around seven o’clock. I have breakfast at seven-thirty, but before that I take a shower. My favorite subject is history, because I think it’s interesting and I really like my teacher, Mr. Hall.
