Verifying and Explaining on ZiSi’s Received Education

Abstract: Academic circles believed that ZiSi received his education from ZengZi or ZiYou, but they couldn’t confirm it and their standpoints weren’t concordant. We get a point that different with theirs, by using some historical data, such as ShangHai museum’s Confucius’s Thesis on Odes andAnalects. We believe that ZiSi probably studied from Confucius’ chief disciples, but he didn’t follow ZengZi or ZiYou, he succeeded Confucius’s thought of later years.
