这些名词均含有“片、块、段”之意。
1.bit : 侧重指微小，一点点，小碎片。

2.piece : 最普通用词，多指从整体上分割下来的东西，可大可小。
I dropped the plate and it fell to pieces.(我把盘子摔得粉碎。)
3.sheet : 侧重指平整很薄的一张或一片。

below, beneath, under, underneath
这些前置词均可表示位置“在……下面”之意。
below : 指位置低于某物或在某物下方，但不一定在正下方，所指范围较宽。
I looked down at the hall below.(我瞧了瞧下面的大厅。)
beneath : 书面用词，指紧挨……之下，其反义词是on。
Shall we rest in the shade beneath these trees.(我们在树下荫凉处休息一下好吗?)
under : 普通用词，与over相对，指在某物的正下方，含垂直在下的意思。
The village nestles under the hill.(那村庄紧靠在山脚下。)
