Premier Wen Jiabao arrives for 15th China-EUsummit
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has arrived in Brussels to attendthe 15th China-EU summit, and pay an official visit to Belgium.
In a written statement released on his arrival, Wen said Chinaand the European Union have forged one of the most influentialbilateral relationships in the world, since establishing acomprehensive strategic partnership in 2003.
Wen highlighted unprecedented development opportunities for both sides, as the internationalsituation undergoes profound changes. The premier also noted that China attaches greatimportance to China-Belgium relations, and regards Belgium as an important partner in the EU. Hesays China and Belgium have achieved great progress in various fields, including politics, economy, trade and culture.
