T: Before you go to travel, how will you prepare for it?

(The time, places/destinations, transport means, fare and things to take „)

目的:通过讨论旅游前的准备工作,让学生意识到事先做好准备对于顺利开展活动的重要性和必要性。

同时利用“brainstorming”训练学生的思维能力。

Step two:Discussion

目的:通过此任务,增强学生的环保意识。小组讨论的方式能充分调动学生的积极性,发挥想象,发表

自己的看法,活跃课堂气氛。同时也培养了学生的探究能力,团队合作精神和口语表达能力。

Step three: Watch & Match

T: Next let’s enjoy some beautiful pictures of great rivers in the world. Do you know which countries these rivers locate in?

T: Imagine that you live in Qinghai province, and you plan to spend a holiday with your friends

in a river. Which one would you like to choose? Why?

目的:通过此任务,训练学生思维,扩展学生的知识面,并顺利引出“Mekong River”这个话题,为下面对话活动做铺垫。

Step four: Making a dialogue

T: Do you know which countries the Mekong River passes?

T: Choose one country as your destination, and make a dialogue with your partner. You can ask each other the following questions:

Where are you going to travel?

When are you leaving?

How are you going to there?

How long are you going to stay in there?

When are you going to back?

Have a good time. / Good luck on your journey. / Have fun„

目的:通过此任务,学生在此复习了本堂课的重点内容,为接下来的阅读教学和语法教学都做了铺垫。同时“对话”方式也训练了学生的口语表达能力。

Step five:Summering up & Homework

T: During this period we have learnt much about traveling, such as the advantage of travel, the traveling preparations, the transport means, the basic information of Mekong River, and so on. With full preparations we’ll have a good time during the trip. Next time, we’ll go into the reading “Journey down the Mekong”. Ok, that’s all for today. Thank you!

目的:通过总结本堂课的教学内容,使学生重温本次课的教学重点,更加明确了本次课的教学目标,也有利于学生开展自我评价。对下堂课的内容做一个提示,便于学生开展课后预习。

Homework:

1) Make a travel plan for your summer holiday, use the words, phrases and sentences

learnt from in this class.

2) Preview the reading passage and pick out the useful words and phrases.

目的:作业设计是为了让学生对本次课所学的知识进行巩固和提升,将课堂所学与生活实际结合起来。同时也培养学生“写”的能力。为进入下节内容做铺垫。

教学反思:
