1. You wanted justice, so you shall get justice, more than you wanted. 你要求公正，就让你得到公正，比你要求的更公正。 so you shall get justice, 句中的 shall 表示说话者的意图，含有允诺，意志，命令，威胁的口吻，支配着对方或第三者的行动。e.g. You shall not leave school today. 你今天不许离开学校。You shall do as I order. 你必须照我的命令去做。You shall suffer for this. 你会为这件事吃苦头的。 If you work well, you shall have higher pay. 如果你工作干得好，你可以得到较高的报酬。I promise you shall get new English books before long. 我保证你们不久就可以拿到新英语课本。Everything shall be done to save the ship. 必须尽一切力量来拯救这艘船。 International shall be the human race. 我们一定要在全世界实现共产主义。

His life shall be at the mercy of the Duke. 他的生命全凭公爵来处置。at the mercy of / (at one’s mercy) 任由……摆布;在……掌握之中;在……前毫无办法; e.g. They were lost at sea and at the mercy of winds and waves. 他们在海上遇难，只得任凭风浪来摆布了。The champion had the other boxer at his mercy. 那个拳击冠军打得他的对手毫无还手之力。Our work is at the mercy of the conditions. 我们的工作受条件的限制。

3. Therefore, go down on your knees and beg the Duke for mercy. 因此你快快跪下请求公爵饶恕吧。go down on one’s knees 跪下;屈膝; e.g. Never go down on one’s knees before enemy. 在敌人目前绝不能屈膝。He went down on his knees and begged for mercy. 他跪地求饶。The young man went down on his hands and then stood on his head against the wall. 那个年轻人双手着地，然后靠墙倒立。

4.
