1)作表语:She seems to be very happy.
2)作宾语补语: I wish you to come with me.
3)作定语: He was the first person to come.
4)作原因状语: I'm sorry to hear that.
5)作主语:To dance is a lot of fun.
6)作目的状语:We go to school to study.
三、难点讲解
1.Have mercy on Antonio.We should learn to show mercy to others.
have mercy on/upon sb., show mercy to sb.宽恕(怜悯)某人。例如:
1)He showed no mercy to the defeated enemy.他对被打败的敌人毫无怜悯之意。
2)Have mercy on us.请饶了我们吧。

表示“倍数”:A is…times as + adj.+as +B
A is…times more than B
A is…times the size of B
1) This box is three times as big as that one.
2)This box is three times bigger than that one.
3) This box is three times the size of that one.
