As is known to all, tourism has been developing very rapidly in recent years. There is no doubt that it can relieve our stress from work and make us relaxed. In addition, it can broaden our horizon, experience different cultures and make friends from different places. What’s more, tourism can contribute to the local economy and create jobs for the local people.

However, there also exist some disadvantages about it. For example, famous places of interest will attract more tourists to visit, which may destroy the natural environment and disturb the normal life of the local people.

You ask me about my hometown, so now I’d like to tell you something about it. I live in Brighton, which is not a very big town. It has a population of around 300,000. It is on the coast about 50 miles from London. Of course it isn’t as interesting as London or Paris. But the air is a lot cleaner and better. There is little population there. There are a few factories in Brighton, but not many. It isn’t very easy to find a job there. My father used to work in a steel plant which shut down a year ago and my father lost his job. But there are a lot of hotels and language schools in town. In summer the town is full of travelers. My father decides to open a small shop to sell gifts. But he is short of money. He hopes that he can borrow some money from the bank.

2.若找准错误，改错符号正确，但答案不正确，不给分。

3.每处错误及其修改均仅限一词，若与此不符，不给分。

4.若找准错误，答案正确，但改错符号不正确，或没有改错符号，或答案未写在指定的位置，不给分。

5.若一处错误用两种改错符号，不给分。

6.用文字表述答案，或不用指定符号改错，不给分。

7.凡与该题参考答案不符者，不给分。

8.用铅笔答题，不给分。

注意：

1.给分前，先确定考生改正的错误个数。若多于10处，只评前10处，从第11处起，无论考生答对与否，均不给分。

三.英语作文评分标准

评分总则：

1、本题总分为25分，按5个档次给分。

评分细则：

优秀(22--25)：紧扣主题，覆盖所有要点，内容充实;语法结构多样，词汇丰富，行文流畅，显示出较强的语言运用能力，允许有个别语言错误，但不影响意思表达。

良好(18--21)：紧扣主题，覆盖所有要点，内容较充实，行文较流畅，语言有少量错误，但基本不影响意思表达。

一般(15--17)：紧扣主题，基本覆盖所有要点，语言错误已影响了部分意思的表达，但多数句子基本正确;基本达到预期写作目的。

较差(11--14)：要点不全，内容不完整，行文不够连贯;语言错误较多，半数句子基本正确。

差(6--10)：内容混乱，或主要内容偏离主题，尚能够写出少数与内容相关的可读句。

极差(0--5)：只能写出与内容相关的词语，没有有效信息;抄写其他文章，或只是写出与作文无关的内容。
