If you really want to get to know someone, travel with them.

Having said that, I've heard horror stories, and with a couple of plans in the works for future trips with friends. I wanted to find some people who have successfully traveled with friends for advice on how to keep sensible when the trip involves lots of time spending with my best friends.

1. Talk money ahead of time

When you're traveling with friends, the topic of money will certainly come up. It's a good idea to talk about expenses before even booking the tickets.

2. Create a group schedule

When traveling in a group, a lot of time can be wasted trying to figure out what to do once you get there - if this hasn't been discussed ahead of time.

3. Nominate a trip leader

The leader can set? departure? times and let everyone know the basic plan by giving it a proper arrangement.

4. Put your important documents together

Once you've chosen a leader, using a travel folder to gather all tickets, maps and other important documents can help?? the process of group travel smoothly, as well.

5. Power down

Nothing is more likely to cause anger than when one person is trying to have a conversation with someone who's busy showing off the trip online. Turn off all messages,? voicemails? and social media activity, and live in the moment with your friends. When you travel and end up spending the time with your face buried in your phone, your companions will certainly think your social networking is more interesting than their company.

6. Set specific free time

If you do decide to go by yourself and set your specific free time, you can use a communication app, like Wechat , to stay in touch. It allows you to send your location andcommunicate effectively if you travel alone while exploring.

Colleges give future students very little information about how much money they canexpect to earn in the job market. In part that's because colleges may not want people to know, and in part it's because such information is difficult and expensive to gather.

On Saturday, the federal government solved that problem by releasing a huge set of newdata detailing the earnings of people who attended nearly every college and university in

America. The Department of Education was thus able to calculate how much money peoplewho were admitted into individual colleges in 2001 and 2002 were earning 10 years later.

On the surface, the trends aren't surprising - students who are admitted into wealthy, excellent colleges earn more than those who do not. The national universities producing thetop earners are no surprise: Harvard, M. I. T. , Stanford and others that routinely top theannual U. S. News and World Report college rankings.

The Department of Education calculated the percentage of students at each college whoearned more than $ 25,000 per year, which is about what high school graduates earn. Athundreds of colleges, less than half of students reached the level 10 years after enrolling. At

Bennington College in Vermont, over 48 percent of former students were earning less than$ 25,000 per year. A quarter were earning less than $ 10,600 per year. At Bard College in

Annandale-on-Hudson, the median annual earnings were only $35, 700. Results at the

University of New Mexico were almost exactly the same.

The data reveals how much money students are borrowing in exchange for earnings aftergraduation. While U. C. L. A. and Penn State are both famous public research universities, recent U.C.L.A. graduates leave with about 30 percent less debt, even as their predecessors(前任)are earning about 30 percent more money at Penn State. Harvard students borrowbarely a quarter of what Brandeis students take on, and earn nearly twice as much.

32. How did the federal government settle the problem?

A. By releasing a huge set of new data. B. By gathering difficult information.

C. By calculating the earnings of people. D. By providing the final results.

33. Students in wealthy and first class colleges usually earn____.

A. less B. more C. the same D. nothing

34. Which universities can probably produce top earners?

A. Bennington College and Bard College.

B. U. C. L. A. and Penn State Universities.

C. Harvard, M. I.T. and Stanford.

D. Bennington College and U.C.L. A.

35. How much percentage could the former students at Bennington College probably earnevery year?

A.10%. B.25%.C. Nearly 50%. D. Just 48%.
