EEC小学英语教材以故事为情景，一话题为单元。本单元以讨论What do you do after school?及答语I______ after school.的句型。并鼓励学生用已经掌握的词汇真实的表达自己的想法，并扎实掌握如何表达他人的想法。

学情分析：

本课的教学对象是小学四年级学生，他们经过了一年的英语学习，已经有了一定的单词和句子基础，并急于也敢于用英语来表达自己的想法。本节课就是利用学生喜欢的话题，鼓励学生表达，并结合大纲对四年级学生的要求，在听说读写四个反方面进行全面训练。
