教材分析 本节课的话题是“What do you want to be when you grow up?”,贴近学生生活实际,易激发学生的学习积极性;语言情景真实;词汇再现率高,符合语言学习的认识规律。本节课的教学目标是:1.学会一些有关职业的英文表达形式. 2.谈论未来自己与他人理想的职业。3.谈论为实现理想的职业所做的打算和安排。

教学设计 通过讨论学生熟悉的职业名称,引出该课的主题,学习生词,并呈现新内容。

教学时数 1课时 教具准备 多媒体课件,录音机,卡片

Teaching Procedures Step 1: Free talk and Presentation Step 2: Pre –task Teach the new words. Show the words on the screen. Point to them and lead the students to learn them. Explain the meaning of them if necessary. Ask Ss to practice these sentences: What do you want to be when you grow up? I am going to be a astronaut. Step 3: Group work Divide the class into small groups. Ask the students to talk about what kind of jobs they would like to have when they grow up , and to briefly explain why they made such choices, Students may refer to the second reading for the names of different jobs.
