一. be supposed to
He supposed it was too late to change his mind.
I shall suppose him to be about fifty.
Is he supposed to clean the outside of the windows or only the inside?
He is supposed to arrive on the five o’clock train.
You are not supposed to do that.
You should have asked what you were supposed to wear.
I should have thought of that.
They shouldn’t have left so soon.
三. used to do / be, get, become used to doing 的区别
it doesn’t bother me like it used to.
又出现了get used to 和be used to
,but I’m gradually getting used to things, …
I was used to eating with chopsticks and a spoon, …
He used to play basketball when he was young.
2. be used to 是“习惯于”某一客观事实或状态。
I am used to the weather here.
You will soon get used to the weather here.
In the end, I got used to doing hard work.
1. When you’re invited for 7:00, you’re supposed to come later.

3. greeted Paul’s mother the wrong way.

6. It is rude to stick your chopsticks into your food.
7. And you shouldn’t point at anyone with your chopsticks.
point后既可接to也可接at
point to sth
point to / at sb.
8. gullible [ ]
