I. 询问职业。

eg.(1)What do you do ? 你是干什么的?

I am a teacher . 我是一名教师。

(2)What does he do ? 他是干什么的?

He is a student . 他是名学生。

(3)What does Tom do ? 汤姆是干什么的?

He’s an officer . 他是位军官。

可归纳如下:

根据代词的数来选择助动词“do”或者是“does”,回答则是

人称代词+be动词+职业的词

翻译下面的句子:

1. 李雷是干什么的? 他是警官。

What does Li Lei do ? He’s a police officer .

2. 你父母是干什么的? 我妈是护士,我爸是医生。

What do your parents do ? My mother is a nurse , my father is a doctor .

3. 玛丽不是工程师,而是助教。

Mary is not a engineer , but an assistant .

注:否定句直接在be 动词上加not 。

II. 问工作职业,除了可用what提问,即What do you do ? 还可间接地问:Where do you work ? 你在哪儿工作?

(1)你在哪儿工作? 我在医院工作。

Where do you work ? I work in a hospital .

(2)赵丽在哪儿工作? 她在一所学校工作。

Where does Zhaoli work ? She works in a school .

从上面两个例句可以看出:无论是用what还是用where提问职业,都要注意主语人称的不同而选择do或does。

eg. Where does she work ? 她在哪儿工作?

She works at a bank . 她在一家银行工作。

注意上面两句中的does , work , works 三词,都是因为主语是she这个第三人称单数才变化的。我们再来看几个句子。

1. 你们在哪儿工作? 我们都在邮局工作。

Where do you work ? We both work in a post office .

2. 小霞在哪儿工作? 她在一家比萨店工作。

Where does Xiaoxia work ? She works in a pizza hut .

III. Present tense to want , to work .

work 和want的一般现在时态。

在一般现在时态中,就要注意主语是单数第三人称时,谓语动词要发生变化。work →works , want →wants ,而且提问或变否定时要借助助动词does或doesn’t,用了助动词后动词都用原形。我们来看一下以下的例句:

1. We want to be actors .

我们想当演员。

2. He wants to be a lawyer .

他想成为一名律师。

这两句中“想……”都是用want,但主语是he这个单数第三人称时,want就变为wants ,而其他的人称没有变化。现在我们把以上两个句子分别变成疑问句和否定句:

1. Do you want to be actors ?

Yes , we do . / No , we don’t .

2. We don’t want to be actors .

3. Does he want to be a lawyer ?

Yes , he does . / No , he doesn’t .

4. He doesn’t want to be a lawyer .

那么work 的用法也和want一样,主语是单数第三人称时要作变化works,或借助助动词does,doesn’t来使用。我们也看看以下的几个例句:

1. Where do you work ?

2. We work in a company in Beijing .

3. We don’t work in a school .

那么主语是单数第三人称时,我们再看几个例句:

1. Where does she work ?

2. She works at a bank .

3. She doesn’t work in a hospital .

由此可见,在一般现在时的时态中,我们要特别注意主语的人称,若是单数第三人称,谓语动词都要变化。

IV. 一般现在时态中,主语是单数第三人称,动词的变化及读音:

1. 一般情况,直接加s,读音为[s]或[z],在轻辅音后发[s],浊辅音后发[z],元音后也发[z]。

eg. work → works [s] want → wants [s]

take → takes [s] 发[s] read → reads [z]

2. 以辅音字母 + “y” 结尾,改“y”为“i”,再加“es”发[iz]。

eg. study → studies 发[iz]

3. 特殊情况,特殊变化,特殊读音,需个别地记:

eg. go → goes 发音[z]

do → does 发音为[z]

say → says 这个词变化不特殊,但读音变为[sez]

have → has [z]

三、 利用多媒体教学课件出示图片,创设情境,播放听力材料,从视觉和听觉上直观教学生词、培养学生的言语能力和对语言信息的捕捉能力。

1. Ask .What job does the person have? Where does the person work?

Then ask students to match each word with one of the pictures.Let them try to finish 1a.

2. Work in pairs.Talk about the jobs in the pictures above,finish 1b.

e.g. -- He’s a policeman.It’s an exciting job.What else can you say about being a policeman?

--It’s a dangerous job.

3.What other jobs do you know? Try to make a list of jobs and describe these jobs.

Finish 1c.

4.Listen to the conversation. Finish2a,2b and 2c.

e.g.---What does Betty/Jenny/Sam want to be? Why?

Because it’s exciting/interesting…

课后反思:

除了表演和对话之外,我还叫学生口头造句(一些有关职业的句子),争取大部分的同学都有回答的机会,多次重复加大练习。另外还采用一些游戏的形式,让尽可能多同学参与。在每节课的最后五分钟我以提问的形式来进行复习总结,在让学生有一个巩固的机会。

在小组活动中我设计了“找工作”的任务型教学活动:以小组为单位讨论,个人介绍推销自己。活动之后要求学生口头汇报任务完成的情况,让他们把学到的知识系统地用到自己的作文中来,练习关于职业以及工作地点的表达。最后要求他们写出书面的作文作为家庭作业,达到笔头方面的训练目的。

我们在教学中不能只是课堂上热闹而已。课堂上的热闹应该是起到调动学生学习积极性的作用,更重要的是要趁势把这种积极性正确地引导到努力巩固所学知识上面来,并要培养他们刻苦努力地学习和追求上进的精神。
