OBJECTIVE TEST AND SUBJECTIVE TEST
Some people think that objective items such as multiple choices should be used for an examination, for they contain the following advantages: they can be scored by a computer quickly, and the examinees can receive their scores within a few days. Above all, the multiple-choice test is objective indeed, namely, it is fair enough for everyone.
Other people don't agree, In their opinion, this kind of test has some bad effects on students' learning. For what the students need to do is to guess and tick, and this cannot help to develop their ability.
I think that one examination should be divided into two parts: subjective and objective. With the two combined together, better judgment on examinees 'capabilities will be made then.
